Baptisms
Baptism is a visible symbol of God’s saving work within a person. It is the outward sign of belonging to the people of God—those who have repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ. You should be baptized if you have repented of your sins and believed on Christ alone for salvation and have not already been baptized as a believer by immersion.
STEP 1: BAPTISM CLASS
To become baptized at Crossroads, we ask you to sign up and attend a baptism class. We require this for those being baptized so they are informed in regards to the decision being made and to ensure they understand and accepted the purpose.
STEP 2: BE INTERVIEWED BY AN ELDER/PASTOR
After completing the Baptism Class, you will then be interviewed by an elder or one of our pastors. They will listen to the story of how the Lord drew you to himself and ask why you would like to be baptized.
STEP 3: BE BAPTIZED
If the elder or one of our pastors has determined you are ready for baptism, you will eligible to participate in a Baptism Service. Baptisms are scheduled during weekend worship services or during special events at various times a year.
